DayZ Tutorial – Where’s my Debug Monitor after 1.7.2.6 update?

Howdy survivors, if you play DayZ, you’ve probably gotten accustomed to the Debug Monitor in the top right hand corner. It will show a player:

  • Zombie Kills
  • Headshots
  • Murders
  • Bandit Kills
  • Blood
  • Zombies Alive
  • Name
  • Humanity

After the 1.7.2.6. update, your debug monitor might have disappeared. You can make it visible again by following these steps.

1. Click ESC to access your game menu.

2. Click “Game Options” in the menu.

3. Look towards the bottom for “DayZ UI” and click the left or right arrows to scroll through the options.

 

4. “Default” is the normal option. (no debug monitor)
“Debug” is (well, that’s self explanatory lol)

I will share though, I’ve noticed if you have the debug monitor on, your game indicators (eyes, ear, food, drink, etc) don’t work correctly. They always stay green. So it might be hard to see if your thirsty or loosing blood.

If you turn the debug monitor off, your indicators should work as normal again. Not sure if everyone has experienced this, but it’s happened to me and some of my team mates.

    When I put debug back on the sight and hearing meters dont animate or work? IS there a fix for this?

    Only use it when you need to know your blood level. Otherwise keep it set to default.

    thank mate!!!!!!!! but i aggree the only time you will look att it is tii look at your tempature or most imortant blood lvl. other wise have defoult on

    Hey I know this is getting old… but i just started playing and I followed these steps. However, DayZ UI is greyed out and you cant select “default” or anything… theres no left or right arrows. Is this the latest patch or do some servers actually disable the debug monitor nowa”dayZ” ?

      I think they changed the settings in the new patch update to get rid of the debug monitor.

    i cant even do that i cant change my DAY Z UI
